What is this tool?
Turn a video into a set of images. Export every frame, a chosen number of frames per second, or evenly spaced stills from any part of the clip, then preview them and download all of them or just the ones you pick. It all runs in your browser, so the video is never uploaded.
How to Use
- Drop a video on the box or click to choose one.
- Drag the range handles or type a start and end time.
- Choose every frame, frames per second, one every N seconds, or a fixed number of frames.
- Pick JPEG, PNG or WebP, the quality and the image size, then press Extract frames.
- Click a frame to view it large, tick the ones you want, and download them or everything as a ZIP.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many images will I get?
Range length times the export rate. Ten seconds of 30 fps video is 300 images at every frame, or 10 at one frame per second. The count is shown before you start.
Does the preview quality setting change my downloads?
No. It only shrinks the thumbnails on the page so long clips scroll smoothly. The large view and downloads always use full quality.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Your browser decodes the video and saves each frame on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
