What is this tool?
Convert and compress images between JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF in your browser. Set a quality or a target file size, resize, rotate or flip, and compare the result with a draggable before/after divider. Each file gets its own size and download; batches download as a ZIP. AVIF and WebP are only offered when your browser can actually save them.
How to Use
- Drop, choose or paste one or more images.
- Choose the output format, then set a quality or a target file size such as 200 KB.
- Optionally resize, rotate or flip, and drag the divider on the preview to compare before and after.
- Press Convert & Download, then download single files from the list or everything as a ZIP.
Frequently Asked Questions
Batch limit?
Files are decoded one at a time, so large batches work on most devices. Very large photos still need memory; convert huge batches in chunks.
Transparency?
Use PNG or WebP when you need alpha; JPEG does not support it and fills transparent areas with white.
Why is AVIF or WebP greyed out?
Some browsers cannot save those formats and quietly produce PNG instead. The tool checks this and turns the format off with a note rather than giving you a mislabelled file.
Can I compress to a target file size?
Yes. Choose Target file size, enter a limit such as 200 KB, and the tool finds the highest quality that fits. If even the lowest quality is too big, it scales the image down until it fits.
