Privacy Policy

Wivrix (wivrix.com and labs.wivrix.com) is run by the Wivrix team in India. For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Wivrix is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. Contact: support@wivrix.com. Wivrix Cloud (cloud.wivrix.com) has its own privacy policy.
In short
- Most tools run entirely in your browser. Files you open in them are not uploaded.
- You don’t need an account, and we don’t sell personal data.
- Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept. You can withdraw that at any time from Cookie settings (also in every page footer).
- A few tools need the network. The table below lists what they send and how long it is kept.

We delete or anonymise personal data when the purpose is met or you withdraw consent, unless a law requires us to keep it longer.
Consent and how to withdraw it
Analytics rely on your consent. Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. To withdraw, open Cookie settings (linked in every page footer) and choose Reject all. That stops analytics immediately and deletes its cookies from this site. Withdrawing doesn’t affect processing done before, and every tool keeps working. You can also email us to withdraw consent. Everything else in the table above is processed because you asked a tool to do something, and only for that task.
Advertising
Wivrix shows no ads. If we add them to support hosting, this section will name the provider and link to its privacy policy first, and no ad script will run until you allow advertising in Cookie settings.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, and who we have shared it with;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
- have a complaint handled by our Grievance Officer (below).
Email support@wivrix.com to use any of these rights. Because we don’t run accounts, we may ask for details that help us find your data, such as the email address you wrote from.
Children
Under the DPDP Act, anyone under 18 is a child. Wivrix is not directed at children and we do not knowingly track, monitor the behaviour of, or show targeted ads to children. If you are under 18, please choose Reject all in the cookie banner and do not send us personal data without a parent or guardian’s consent. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Transfers outside India
Cloudflare serves the site from data centres worldwide, Google processes analytics data in the USA and elsewhere, and the providers named in the table above may process data outside India. We use these providers only for the purposes above, and do not transfer data to any country the Government of India restricts.
Security and breaches
The site is served only over HTTPS, and we keep as little personal data as we can. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Grievance Officer
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Rules, 2021, you can raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer about your personal data or about content on Wivrix.

Complaints to the Data Protection Board
If you are not satisfied with how our Grievance Officer handles your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, set up under the DPDP Act. The law asks you to contact our Grievance Officer first.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date. If a change affects what we do with data you consented to, we will ask for your consent again.
