What is this tool?

This WAN file transfer tool sends files between two devices over the internet, browser to browser, without uploading them to cloud storage. The sender picks files on the Send Files tab and gets a six-digit code. The receiver enters it on Receive Files and reads back a second code, which the sender types to confirm the pairing. The receiver sees the file names and total size and accepts or declines. Files then stream over an encrypted WebRTC connection, with progress, speed and time left, image/audio/video/PDF previews on the receiver, and a connection check code on both screens. You can also send a text snippet or link, and share a link or QR code that fills in the code for the receiver. The tool sets no file size or count limit. Only the pairing handshake passes through a Cloudflare Worker. An Advanced option can route traffic through a relay to hide your IP address.

How to Use

On the sending device, open Send Files and click or drag files onto Click or drag files here.
Give the six-digit code to the receiver, or send the link or QR code shown next to it. It expires after 10 minutes.
On the receiving device, open Receive Files, enter the sender's six digits, click Continue, and read back the new code it shows.
The sender types those digits under Now type their six digits and clicks Verify and connect.
Optionally click Choose a folder on the receiver to save files straight to disk. The receiver taps Accept, then keep both pages open until the transfer finishes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Files travel over a WebRTC data channel that is encrypted in transit. The Cloudflare Worker only handles the pairing codes and connection details, and if you choose the relay option the encrypted data passes through Cloudflare's relay without being stored.

Why are there two codes?

The second code proves the sender is connected to the intended person, not someone who guessed the first code. Nothing is sent until it is confirmed, and three wrong tries close the session.

Can I send very large files?

Yes, files are streamed in 64 KB chunks. For large files, the receiver should use Choose a folder, which writes straight to disk in browsers that support it; otherwise files may be held in memory before saving, which can fail on very large transfers.
