Torrent Downloader & Uploader

Download torrents and share your own files with a magnet link, right in your browser. Watch videos while they download. No app, nothing uploaded to our servers.

🔒 Runs in your browser with WebTorrent. Files travel directly between browsers; Wivrix never sees or stores them. Keep this tab open while downloading or sharing.

Browsers can only connect to other browsers and to apps that support WebTorrent (such as WebTorrent Desktop), plus web seeds. Torrents shared from this page always work; many older public torrents have no browser peers and will not start.

What is this tool?

Torrent Downloader & Uploader is a torrent client that runs in your browser with WebTorrent. Paste a magnet link or info hash, or open a .torrent file, to download; choose files or a folder to share them as a new torrent with a magnet link, a share link and a .torrent file. Videos and music can be played while they download, and files can be saved as soon as you like, straight to your downloads. Files travel directly between browsers over WebRTC, so nothing passes through or is stored on Wivrix's servers. Because browsers cannot open ordinary BitTorrent connections, it can only reach other browsers, WebTorrent-compatible apps such as WebTorrent Desktop, and web seeds: torrents shared from this page always work, while many older public torrents shared only by desktop apps will not start.

How to Use

  1. To download, paste a magnet link or info hash and press Start download, or open a .torrent file.
  2. Watch the progress, speed and number of peers; untick files you do not need.
  3. Press Play on a video or song to watch it while it downloads, or Save to keep a file.
  4. To share, open Share files, choose files or a folder, and press Create torrent and start sharing.
  5. Copy the share link or magnet link and send it; keep the tab open while others download.
  6. Torrents are remembered in this browser, so you can resume them later or delete their data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a torrent stay at 0 peers?

Browsers can only connect to other browsers and to apps that support WebTorrent, through WebSocket trackers. Most older public torrents are shared only by desktop apps over TCP and UDP, which a web page cannot reach, so they never find a peer here. Torrents shared from this page, or from WebTorrent Desktop, work.

Do my files go through Wivrix?

No. Wivrix only serves the page. Trackers introduce the peers, and the files go directly between browsers over encrypted WebRTC connections.

How long do I have to keep the page open?

For as long as you want to download or share. Closing the tab stops it; downloaded data stays in this browser so you can resume later or delete it under Saved in this browser.
